Taylor first contacted me about a family session when her daughter was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit…her husband, Matt, was home from a military deployment for a short period of time and would be returning shortly after little miss was discharged. And leave shortly after he did…little miss was discharged over the weekend, this family session was done on a Wednesday, and Matt returned to his deployment on Friday!
Matt and Taylor were laid back, laughed a ton, are a great parenting team, and enjoyed being together as a family! They embraced this phase of their lives beautifully and wanted to capture their family just as they are – I mean with two kids under two life is bound to be a little chaotic but our session sure wasn’t! Seriously…these kids are absolutely adorable and this family was so fun to work with.
Little man is “all boy” – he wanted to run, jump, and have fun. I love that Matt and Taylor embraced that in their session – they cuddled with him in short bursts, let him run, and played games with him.
Baby girl slept through most of the session and loved just being held. I love these images of her with her parents…especially seeing how small she is in her daddy’s protective arms!
Taylor and Matt you have such a beautiful family! Thankyou for choosing me to be your photographer.
