“Katherine…I’m pregnant!” I will never forget the moment my sweet friend very excitedly whispered (although not so quietly) those words to me at the park as our children played after school! She was only a few weeks along in her pregnancy but this baby was already SO loved. Christina and Josh had prayed for this little one for quite a while and were THRILLED with their new blessing…child number three for their family.
Christina is one of my dear friends and our oldest children go to school together so I was blessed to be able to watch her belly grow, learn the gender of the baby shortly after her appointment, feel him move and kick in his mamma’s belly, and watch how excited his family was to meet him!
Christina rocked her pregnancy! As a military family, Josh was deployed multiple times during the pregnancy but that never slowed her down, she didn’t complain, and they have a great support system that showed them so much love.
We planned her maternity session, as well as her birth story session, from the beginning of her pregnancy. I was honored to capture these moments of their pregnancy for such a wonderful family! They wanted a laid back, lifestyle photography session and I was thrilled to provide just that. I mean how often do you show up and have your clients getting ready for their nighttime routine and the kids in pajamas?!?
This maternity session was truly laid back and absolutely beautiful. Christina’s pregnancy glow shined through, the love for baby Noah was overly evident, and the entire family was involved (even the dog!).
We ended the session with the kids curled up with mamma reading their favorite book to baby Noah, “Wherever You Are My Love Will Find You” by Nancy Tillman. How precious is that?!?
Be sure to check back in the next few weeks to see Noah’s birth story session! Looking to plan your own maternity session? Contact me for more information!
